Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician performs pharmacy related functions within the scope of their license and education under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Manager or Staff Pharmacist.

Education, Training or Certifications Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must hold Maine Pharmacy Technician license must be acquired upon hire.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred. If not nationally certified, must show evidence of working towards certification within 6 months of hire and obtain certification within 1 year of hire.

Experience Required:

• No experience necessary, will train upon hire.

• Knowledge of medications and medical supplies.
• Strong mathematical computation skills.
• Knowledge of record-keeping techniques.
