Pestmaster Services, part of Threshold Brands, and a nationwide leader in pest and vegetation control, is recruiting for Pest Control Technicians in the San Francisco Bay California area. We offer a competitive wage, great benefits, paid Time Off, holiday pay, and a company car.

POSITION SUMMARY
Pest control technicians help customers identify and get rid of various pests. The pest control technician’s responsibilities include inspecting customers’ premises, advising customers on possible treatment options. Technician will identify, select, mix, and apply appropriate solutions or trap to get rid of pests.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Determines the kind of treatment required to eliminate a particular type of pest.
• Advises customers on the kind of treatment required to eliminate identified pests.
• Inspects customers’ premises to identify pest problems.
• Fills out all necessary paperwork upon completion of each job.
• Communicates with office staff in order to schedule services with customers.
• Applies suitable pesticides to infested areas by following the label instructions and complying with safety procedures.
• Responds to customers’ requests for various pest control services.
• Identifies opportunities to sell additional company services and products.
• Distributes door hangers in residential/commercial areas
• Utilize appropriate protective gear and equipment during application
• Power spray chemicals onto surfaces
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Self-motivated
• Must have a great DMV driving record and a valid driver's license
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test (includes Marijuana)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Pest Control General License, preferred
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
