We work Monday through Friday with some Saturday’s and some holidays. Sales ability is a bonus and our employees are rewarded for their efforts.

The job will require work outside in the weather and elements, on ladders, in attics, and in crawl spaces. Candidates should have experience working in these environments and feel comfortable working in them.

Position Overview:

The Shield Route Technicians are responsible for taking care of our existing customers on regular maintenance planned appointments. These planned appointments are designed to keep up pest barriers on the outside of the home but will often involve treatments in the garage, inside, crawl space and attics. Candidates should be comfortable working in those environments.

We utilize electronic paperwork to make our tech and customer experience more streamlined. Your schedules are always set and are not the responsibility of our techs to schedule appointments. The appointments and schedules are all done by the office.

Our Route Technicians will service between 11-15 homes per day. We want our techs to have plenty of time to make sure each customers gets a 5 star service and has an amazing customer experience on each visit.

We need someone who is dialed in on the details so we leave our customer with an amazing impression. Route Technicians will need strong communication skills as they interact with our customers and explain our service features and benefits.

Route Technicians schedules are Typically Monday-Friday or Tuesday- Saturday. Their hours are usually 8:00 am-5:00 pm.

Job Requirements:

• Hold an active driver’s license with a clean driving record. (Must pass our MVR check and be 21 years of age to qualify for our company vehicle insurance)
• Must pass a background check
• Must Pass a drug Screen
• Have a commitment to Safety in all job areas: Driving, Service, and training
• Have a commitment to provide an honest and exceptional customer experience
• Have a positive background in Customer Service
• Be willing to work Monday-Saturday and some Holidays
• Earn and maintain the state requirement training and licensing ( We will provide the training)

Ideal Candidates will have the following experience and qualifications

We are willing to train new individuals to our industry with no pest control experience. The training is paid and we will also work to get you all required state licensing to perform pest control services.

Experience is a plus and our ideal Candidate will have:

• 6 months of experience in the pest control industry
• Have a state required pest control license
• Have experience driving a company vehicle
• Have 6 months of customer service experience
