Personal Care Aide (PCA) Job at RUTH M SMITH CENTER

We are hiring personal care aides for call in/fill in Evening Shift-4pm to 12am and call in Midnight Shift 12am to 8am to support independent residents in their everyday lives. The satisfaction that comes with helping others surpasses the challenges of this job. If you’re a compassionate, positive person who isn’t afraid to work hard, then this is a job for you. We expect you to be polite and a good communicator. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for others will make you a strong candidate. Must be reliable and dependable. Paid training. We offer paid training, vision, dental, free YMCA membership, meals, sick leave, and vacation. You must have a High School Diploma or GED. A Criminal Background Check and Drug Screen is required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure clients receive their medication on time
- Meal preparation
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment

- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
