Adult & Child partners with over 100 schools in central Indiana to help students with their behavioral health needs. You will work one-on-one with students in the classroom or in a school setting, to build needed skills. You will also work with students and their families/caregivers in the home to provide a full range of support. Working alongside you will be a Team Leader, Psychologist, and Staff Therapists. Our goal is to help children and teens develop behavioral health-related skills to succeed academically and socially, creating a lasting impact throughout their lives.

Our full-time non-exempt (hourly) School Based Case Manager/Skills Development Specialist will work Monday - Friday, during school hours, but this role has the opportunity for flexible scheduling. You will work primarily out of the schools you provide services in but we will also have an office location available.

What You'll Do

• Provide skills training and development based on recovery plan to clients and their families by engaging clients at their skill level
• Provide age appropriate interventions using strengths based approaches to care
• Provide crisis intervention/emergency services and safety planning by assessing risk, developing safety plans and reporting any abuse or neglect
• Communicate and collaborate with collateral contacts, stakeholders, and referral sources
• Complete documentation timely and accurately, maintaining ethical standards of Adult & Child
• Complete all required trainings and attend clinical staffing

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related behavioral health field
• Previous experience in behavioral health or working with family, children and teens preferred but not required
• Interested in helping students, grades pre-K through 12, with behavioral health needs
• Available during school hours, as well as after school to meet with students and caregivers
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with a variety of individuals (psychologists, teachers, guidance counselors, and other school/A&C staff)
• Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own, insured, transportation
