Job Title: Performance Tester

Location: Dallas, TX (Remote)

Duration: Long Term

Responsibilities:

• Performance Testing / Engineering experience of 7+ years minimum
• Experience leading and testing cloud migration projects preferred.
• Understand the application system and architecture and develop a plan and strategy for performance testing, then implement the plan. Understanding and experience with a variety of performance testing methods (Load, Stress, Soak, etc.)
• Developing various tests and test scripts for application software, database upgrades, installation modifications, configuration, and infrastructure upgrades based on the performance of the E2E point.
• Analyzing test results, identifying optimization opportunities, and participating in performance test exit reviews
• Design and build processes to monitor if applications are performing in accordance with SLAs and measure performance.
• Expertise in developing workload models, developing performance strategies, and implementing them.
• Expertise in JMeter, LoadRunner, or Neo Load is required.
• Some experience with Web load is preferred.
• Experience in resilience and reliability testing, high availability design, resilient architecture, scalability and capacity analysis, and SLA analysis.
• Experience testing APIs and web services (SOAP, REST, FTP, JSON, etc.)
• Understand the End-to-End performance test process and know when and how to engage different teams, such as DBAs, developers, or system administrators”.
