About the Role:

Collective is looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Manager to take our marketing efforts to the next level. This person will manage our Google Ads account, shaping the deployment of our budget as we continue to scale rapidly. They will also drive the roadmap for new channel launches (Podcasts, OTT, Programmatic), defining success criteria and tracking results. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wakes up every day with a desire to come to work and constantly improve what we're building.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute strategies to acquire new Collective members through digital channels.
  • Analyze data across our marketing channels and internal systems to create scalable growth.
  • Become a customer champion: as marketers we need to understand our customer better than anyone.
  • Be accountable for prioritizing, launching and achieving performance goals across new growth channels.
  • Execute, optimize, and scale our Google Ads account with a data-driven approach.
  • Analyze media performance frequently and develop + execute on strategic insights.
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and engineers to deliver new ad ideas and web experiences.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience in performance marketing with expertise in Google Ads, and ideally other marketing channels.
  • History of making business decisions with quantitative rigor and adept in supporting skill sets such as: Excel and data visualization.
  • A basic understanding of statistical analysis (Statistical significance, Bayesian statistics, confidence intervals, etc).
  • Cross-functional project management experience, including setting project objectives and deadlines.
  • A competitive testing mentality: a desire to consistently improve and dig deeper to drive better results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when justifying decisions and prioritizing.

Bonus Points if you have:


  • Startup experience.
  • SQL fluency.
  • Experience working with high consideration products and longer purchasing funnels.

What we offer in return:

Compensation Range: $125,000-$135,000 USD annual base salary.
