Tim's Cascade Snacks, a subsidiary of Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and is currently recruiting for a Peeler to work from our manufacturing facility located in Algona, WA on Second Shift.

This position is responsible to operate switches to control flow of raw product from peeler to conveyor belts and trimming / cutting potatoes discarding unacceptable product. The position assists in the fry room when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Operates peeler and conveyors for consistent flow of raw product.
• Monitors potato slicer to ensure standards are met.
• Trims and cuts potatoes and discards any defect product.
• Runs water filtration system as needed.
• Monitors the wastewater pump.
• Responsible for changing water in hydro lift daily.
• Keeps workstation clean and orderly.
• Assists fry room operator in changing and cleaning slicer heads and helps to keep fry room clean.
• Trained in key shut down procedures when there is a problem in the fry room.
• Monitors auto-stir fryer during lunch periods.
• Notifies Supervisor or Team Lead of any problems.
