Pediatric Therapist (OT) - PRN Job at Excelsior Springs City Hospital
Responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing, and administering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. Helps pediatric patients not only to improve their basic motor functions and reasoning abilities, but also to compensate for permanent loss of function; help pediatric patients to have productive, and satisfying lives.
- Previous pediatric experience strongly preferred.
- Must hold an active license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Missouri.
- The therapist must be eligible for a membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Must be certified in basic BLS techniques
