Be a part of our growing team environment. We're currently seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Payroll & Bookkeeping Associate

Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll, tax payments, and forms
• Northland’s myPay Solutions expert
• Revision and upkeep of payroll procedures
• Assist with payroll/1099 compliance efforts
• Assist with 1099 processing
• Assist with client Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and bank reconciliations
• Complete data entry and other projects as necessary

Skills/Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility with work assignments
• Excellent organizational skills

Education/Experience

• Minimum of two years post-secondary education or two years of payroll or bookkeeping experience.

The successful candidate will thrive in a busy and professional work environment with a periodic heavy workload. Bonus potential is available.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
