Thrive Behavioral Health is looking for a Full-Time Payroll Assistant to work in the Rosedale office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

1. Reviews, addresses, and edits grant based timesheets daily or as frequently as requested.

2. Frequently reviews, addresses, and edits the timesheets of fee-for-service therapists completing hourly work.

3. Regularly evaluates supervision being provided.

4. Completes full-time/part-time analysis regularly.

5. Monitors 48-hour compliance and notifies appropriate supervisor and/or director of trends and concerns.

6. Reviews Credible Scheduler and addresses inaccuracies to be remediated.

7. Using Excel, completes auding reports including but not limited to grant billing vs. hours submitted.

8. Provides individual one-on-one training of timekeeping system and functions within the system.

9 Assisting with time off calculations, accruals, and confirming approval/denials are timely processed.

10. Attends and completes all required agency trainings.

11. Performs other duties and tasks as required.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Preferably has a minimum of two years of administrative experience, including one year payroll experience.
  • Knowledge of industry standards as related to the position of Payroll Assistant.
  • Knowledge of PC software programs, particularly Microsoft Word & Outlook along with proficiency using Excel including pivot tables is highly preferred.
  • Generally competent of payroll/HRIS systems.
  • Assertive and effective written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to concentrate on work amid distractions such as noise, conversations and foot traffic.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision in an unstructured environment with multiple demands.
  • Must possess a reading and writing level that provides for clear expression and/or understanding of assignments related to job description.
  • Be fully aware of all facility programs, their eligibility requirements, competencies and strengths.
  • Has the ability to consistently consult with supervisor when necessary and works as a team.
  • Must be organized, flexible, and able to demonstrate self-motivation and prioritization.
  • Decision Making-able to maintain discretion and escalate issues/concerns when appropriate.
  • Customer Service Oriented-ability to represent the program well in interactions both inside and outside the facility in person and over the telephone.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Training, and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma, or GED equivalent or two years work experience.
  • Preferred, experience as a Payroll Assistant ideally in healthcare.
  • Preferred, CPR/First Aid Certification.
