POSITION SUMMARY:
The Posting Analyst is responsible for the daily opening and processing of insurance remits, EOB’s and patient payments. They are responsible for creating daily payment batches and coordinating deposit batches with financial department. They will ensure accurate payment and contractual adjustments posted to Epic EMR. They coordinate denials with the Accounts Receivables department. They are also responsible for any other duties that may be assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communicating with customers with billing issues while practicing FastMed’s SMILE philosophy
Opening and processing of insurance remits, EOBs and patient payments
Creating daily payment batches
Coordinating deposit batches with the finance department
Ensure accurate payment and contractual adjustments posted to medical software
Coordinate denials with the Accounts Receivables department
Communicate and coordinate any issues with the Billing Manager
Any other responsibilities assigned by the Billing Manager or team lead for posting

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
One or more year’s external medical billing experience preferred. Associates Degree Preferred.
