We are hiring for Patient Services Representative/Front Desk Receptionist at our eyecare clinic.


The Patient Services Representative/Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for performing a variety of routine tasks and special requests associated with the daily operations. The daily tasks are often time-sensitive and therefore require consistent performance without reminders, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy. An overview of the daily and special requests is outlined below under “Essential Functions”. All tasks are to be completed as a team player within the department and company.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcomes and greets all the visitors, in person or over the phone
  • Answers the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette
  • Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized
  • Provide clerical support for mass mailings on an as needed basis.
  • Assist with organization and distribution of Mail Room materials (i.e., office supplies, stationary, printer ribbons, copy paper, etc.).
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.
  • Must have computer knowledge.
  • Ability to operate mail and shipping systems and other similar office equipment.
  • Have the ability to provide excellent customer service, communication, telephone and grammar skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.
