Job Summary: This individual is responsible for greeting patients upon their arrival to the eye center. They welcome patients to the practice and screen patients at the point of entry.

Education and Experience:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Experience in healthcare setting/medical office preferred.

3. Experience using computers/tablets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Greets patients entering the parking lot with a friendly, upbeat attitude.

2. Determines if patients have an appointment and signs patients in, recording name, cell phone number and make and model of car.

3. Directs patients/visitors to the appropriate service and/or location.

4. Manages traffic flow.

5. Notifies patients waiting in car of appointment status.

6. Screens patients upon entrance to facility.

7. Advises patients/visitors of COVID process/procedures.

8. Manages the waiting process, acting as a liaison between patients, families and office staff.

9. Maintains confidentiality at all times.

10. Performs other duties as assigned.
