Responsibilities
- Coordinates and executes assigned Patient Family Centered Care programs; manages large projects by developing the plan and scope of work in collaboration with staff across all levels of the institution.
- Responsible for budget and resource management needs.
- Supervises, coaches and supports assigned interns and caregiver advisers across a variety of programs.
- Evaluates, analyzes data and maintains quality programming, providing inputs for systemic changes to project management processes.
- Collaborates with team to recruit, orient, train, recognize, and retain parent volunteers.
- Represents the program internally and externally, effectively advocating for and communicating with customers; maintains several databases, collects and enters program statistics to show impact, and provides summaries of impact for administration.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's Degree required - preferably in Family Services/Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Public or Non Profit Administration, Communications, Education, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or Human Resources
- Master's Degree in similar concentration preferred
Minimum Experience
- Two (2) years experience in program management and delivery, preferably in a non-profit organization, healthcare, academic institution, or related field
- One (1) year experience managing/ supervising staff, volunteers (non-paid staff), and/ or students
- Prefer experience working directly with parents, children or families as a whole
- Experience working with project planning tools and databases

- (LC: CVA) Certified in Volunteer Administration (CVA) by the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration
- (LC: CAVS) Certified Administrator of Volunteers Services by the Patient Experience Institute
- (LC: CPXP) Certified Patient Experience Professional by the Patient Experience Institute
- (LC: NCC) National Certified Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors
- (LC: CCLS) Certified Child Life Specialist, by the Association of Child Life Professionals
