Position Summary: The goal of the Patient Experience Coordinator is to effectively manage patient and customer concerns while promoting positive representation of Silver Cross Hospital and Medical Centers. The role incorporates Silver Cross core values while working with patients/families to resolve complaints and grievances. Collaboration with the leadership team to help foster early resolution of patient/family concerns and to resolve processes or modify practices that may cause repeated complaints. The Patient Experience Coordinator adheres to professional standards, hospital policies/procedures along with requirements for CMS Standards, The Joint Commission, and other applicable federal, state and local laws.
Education and Training:
- Associate Degree Required / Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years healthcare experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel mandatory; experience with RL Datix preferred
- Experience with CMS related to grievance management is a plus
Work Shift Details:
Days, Hours may vary slightly...generally 10am-6:30pm M-F.
