Patient Associates

This company located in Rhode Island is a new compassion center, located in Central Falls, Rhode Island, just minutes from the Massachusetts border. We offer a safe and distinctive atmosphere for our patients, customers, and staff to experience cannabis retail in a quality environment.

The Patient Associate (PA) position is the cornerstone of our business, providing friendly service, knowledgeable information that meets every individual's specific cannabis needs.

This position is responsible for paying close attention to detail that guides patients and customers

through their purchasing process. The goal of the Patient Associate is to assure that everyone who

shops at the company are educated and empowered through their cannabis purchasing experience. The PA must maintain strict cash and inventory controls that ensure complete compliance and are required to be well versed on all DBR (Department of Business Regulations)

regulations and internal policies.

Patient Associates are required to be up to date on the development of new products, consumption methods, accessories, news, culture, and events.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

Greet patients and customers enthusiastically

Provide education on the difference between products, strains, products available

Stay informed of all products offered and menu changes

Listen to and help customers make confident choices With their purchases

Maintain an efficient order processing flow

Perform inventory checks at the beginning/end and throughout the shift that ensures

compliance and theft prevention

Assist with inventory management and audits as needed

Assist with filling orders as need to the e commerce and home delivery team

Assist with new patient intake, reception and ID checks

Must be able to operate and troubleshoot multiple forms of computer software/hardware and

POS machines

Accountable and considerate of time and how it is managed across departments

Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors, managers, and colleagues

Perform opening and closing duties including light cleaning

Perform daily d hoc duties as needed

Requirements

Must be 21+

Accountable, Reliable

and Trustworthy

Excellent customer service skills

Retail experience

with the ability to tactfully upsell

Technologically savvy

Excellent communication skills verbally and written

Excellent cash management and counting skills

Attention to detail and the ability to efficiently multitask

Ability to stand for 7 hours at a time

Able to lift 30 lbs regularly

Experience with making and receiving phone calls

Ability to effectively resolve customer conflicts

Ability to learn new tasks and grow within the industry

High school or equivalent,

Associates

Degree technical education or specialty training preferred

Cannabis and retail experience preferred
