JOB PROFILE
Assist in daily construction company parts department operations. This will consist primarily of warehouse functions such as receiving stock, maintaining stocking levels, organizing stock, and picking/fulfilling parts orders. Additional responsibilities will be to adequately search equipment, parts or products to acquire materials for technicians to make appropriate repairs.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Mechanical aptitude is desired.
• 1-2 years of automotive or construction parts experience is desired.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience is desired.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, vendors and managers.
• Must be accountable for keeping accurate inventory of parts and equipment in/out.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use of internet and basic computer programs.
• Must be able to communicate via email effectively and efficiently.
• Displays flexibility, handles changes to assigned tasks with ease.
• Must have patience to perform routine tasks daily, accurately and consistently.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Parts Warehouse Person is responsible to provide prompt, courteous contact with employees, managers and mechanics and direct as appropriate. Fulfill warehouse functions such as receiving stock, maintaining stocking levels, organizing stock, and picking/fulfilling parts orders and returns. Adequately search equipment, parts or products to acquire materials for technicians to make appropriate repairs.

Position Requirements:

• Know and follow all Company and customer safety rules, including maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly work area, fully participating in Company accident prevention and safety improvement activities.
• Must have the physical ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including protective glasses, protective gloves, and protective clothing and footwear as required by the job.
• Respond to all requests in a professional and courteous, timely and responsive manner.
• Maintain a clean, professional personal appearance at all time, meeting all Company standards for professionalism.
• Keep the Manager continually apprised to assist in answering customer questions and problems when necessary.

• Able to work standard five-day schedule, including daily overtime and occasional weekend hours as needed.
• Meet all eligibility requirements to drive Company vehicles, including a current, valid driver’s license issued by the resident State, and maintain current motor vehicle liability insurance.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50-80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
