Title: Parts Administrator
Location: Shorewood, IL
Position Summary:
The Parts Administrator will be responsible for completing daily tasks for the Parts Department handling all daily processes and paperwork. They will work collectively with each manager in the parts department, accounting, and corporate teams to ensure processes and procedures are completed timely and accurately.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Processing of daily new parts returns and core returns.
- Issuing credits/refunds to customers for new and core returns.
- Refunding customer via credit card transactions or requesting a check refund for customers with communication to AR on refunds.
- All returns done daily, correctly, and in timely manner.
- Reviewing return paperwork and reporting any discrepancies/issues to manager for approval and processing.
- Filling of all return paperwork daily and properly stored.
- Researching of returns, from AR, management, and customer requests.
- PAR submittal paperwork completed and submitted to manufacturer with PO.
- Photo submittal for PAR returns.
- Daily schedule maintenance of shared file/cores/PARS.
- Completing over the counter warranty process.
- Additional tasks per manager discretion.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills
- Basic Microsoft skills, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Accurate typing skills
Education and /or required experience:
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years relevant industry & job experience
