As part of the UGE Customer Service team, you’ll meet diverse people from all over the world to provide a friendly experience for every flight, every day!
How you’ll serve our customers:
Make every interaction a positive one through kind communication.
Assist passengers with a smile during arrival and check-in processes, including support for passengers with special needs such as unaccompanied minors, and passengers needing wheelchair assistance.
The customer service representative is expected to be friendly, prompt, and courteous.
You will provide assistance for people who are checking-in, making reservations, rebooking a flight, and checking in baggage.
Resolve disservice situations like determining alternative flight options or rebooking a reservation when delays, cancellations or misconnections occur.
Make informed decisions in sometimes stressful situations.

What will my schedule look like?
This is a union position based on seniority. You will be assigned your initial schedule and will then have the opportunity to bid for your desired shift after your initial schedule period ends.
You may be required to work mandatory overtime based on operational need.
Must be able to work during day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Punctuality and reliability are essential.
As you gain seniority, you can trade days with colleagues, pick up extra hours, and have more control over your schedule.
UGE requirements
Minimum of 18 years old
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
Eligibility to obtain necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal Service) per local requirements
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
ADA Specifications
Ability to operate a computer to enter and retrieve data
Ability to lift up to 70lbs on a consistent basis
Ability to pass all pre-screening clearances (including a background check, hearing and vision tests, and drug screen)
