Part Time Clerk - Bookstore Job at Kilgore College

Responsibilities:
The bookstore clerk’s duties include, but are not limited to, the following: serving as cashier, verifying student financial aid and charging books and supplies, stocking inventory, keeping inventory and bookstore neat and clean by dusting and vacuuming, assisting the KC Bookstore Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must have a high school credential and either one year of college or retail or related customer service experience. Applicants must possess good verbal communication skills; have good keyboarding skills; be well organized and thorough; be able to work well with little supervision and deal professionally and courteously with a diverse student and faculty population. Applicants must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and be able to lift up to 30 pounds on a routine basis.
Salary Range & Fringe Benefits:
The wage is $8.25 per hour. All part-time employees participate in an I.R.C. Section 457 retirement plan and are covered by workers compensation insurance.
