JOB DESCRIPTION

The Over-the-Road (OTR) CDL Truck Driver partners with our Truck Group Sales team to transport commercial vehicles from one location to another. He or she may have customer interaction when delivering vehicles to customer locations. Most importantly and without exception, the Driver operates within the legal speed limits and in a safe fashion at all times.

The candidate must have a smart phone and be able to pass a drug test.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transports trucks from one location to another
• Transports commercial vehicles from one location to another
• Follows all safety policies and procedures
• Obeys posted speed limits at all times and all other rules of the road
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and ensures proper working condition
• Completes any reports or logs
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 21 years old
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Two years of driving experience required
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Class A CDL license (hazardous materials endorsement preferred)
• Able to pass the DOT physical examination
• Basic mechanical skills to perform regular vehicle inspections
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Able to frequently exert 50 pounds of force and occasionally exert 100 pounds of force
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Highly professional and dependable
• Safety and customer service oriented
