Holtz Educational Center, LLC is a non-public, therapeutic day school that provides special education alternatives to students utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Holtz accepts students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delay, students previously diagnosed as having PDD-NOS, intellectual and specific learning disorders & other health impairments.

We provide full training for those just starting their careers in the ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) field and room for growth for more experienced candidates.

Range of Expertise
Holtz serves individuals from pre-K through 8th grade. Our staff have experience working with various developmental disabilities and mental health concerns.

Summary of Duties

The Paraprofessional/Registered Behavior Technician ["RBT"] will be responsible for implementing education programs, teaching daily life skills, shadowing students in small group settings, and facilitating social interactions with peers. In addition, the RBT will work in collaboration with the student’s educational team to implement program goals in both the school and community environments while simultaneously decreasing maladaptive and dependent behaviors.

Education and Experience

1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
2. ISBE Certified Substitute Teacher License or Paraprofessional License (will provide
training and classes to obtain Paraprofessional License while working).
3. Reliable transportation.
4. Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis/Verbal Behavior preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
