Shore United Bank is seeking a Paralegal. This position is responsible for providing support to Shore United Bank's Chief Legal Officer. The Paralegal will review and prepare legal documents, research, and provide administrative support to the legal department.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in the review of and response to legal documents such as powers of attorney, trusts, writs, subpoenas, summons, levies and garnishments.
• Assists in the preparation and filing of legal pleadings in state and federal courts.
• Reviews corporate documents and determines sufficiency for use in documenting proper corporate structure.
• Assists with organizational work, including maintaining corporate records, and tracking various due dates.
• Assists in drafting pleadings, correspondence and other business documents, including regulatory and corporate filings.
• Participates in special projects as needed.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time, position Monday-Friday.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's or associate degree, and paralegal certificate.
• Minimum of five (5) years' experience working as a paralegal.
• Demonstrated work experience in banking or bank branch setting helpful, but not required.
