Primary Function:

The Production (packaging) Operator’s role is to handle multiple production processes in the packaging department. The primary role is to operate the filling machine ensuring that the highest production rate is achieved. Accountable for following standard operating procedures and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

· Handle set-up, cleaning, operation and troubleshooting of the overflow, piston, and individual gear pump fillers.

· Take production records and collect in-process data, measure samples.

· Package finished product for shipment.

· Clean production utensils, equipment, and suites.

· Ensure that all products are produced with the highest quality possible.

· Provide feedback to management about process improvement and potential safety issues.

· Train new employees on all line functions.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

· High School Diploma or equivalent work experience is a plus.

· Previous production/manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or food processing and packaging setting (Plus).
