Outside Sales Representative [REMOTE] (Machine Automation exp. req.) Description

Our client in the automation machinery manufacturing industry is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to develop their GA, NC, and SC territory. You will be responsible for driving sales through developing quality client relationships and ensuring the maximization of both direct sales and channel partner sales goals. To be successful in this role, you must have a mechanical background, a hunter mentality, and a passion for continuous improvement. Experience with machine automation, machine vision, motors, machine safety equipment, or other complementary lines is required. You must be comfortable with regional travel, 2-4 days per week on average. • Manage sales goals of channel partners and direct sales team
• Develop sales forecasts and create a plan to meet goals
• Conduct face-to-face sales calls
• Hunt and prospect for new business
• Achieve sales calls to quotes produced goals
• Achieve quote to sales conversion targets
• Provide innovative customer solutions
• Apply hands-on mechanical knowledge in customer settings
• Maintain and develop close customer relationships

• 2+ years of outside product sales experience required
• Distribution/channel partner sales environment experience required
• Machine automation, vision, motors, machine safety equipment, or experience with similar lines required
• Must be able to travel 2-4 days per week within the region of GA, NC, and SC
