Klamath Basin Behavioral Health is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) and serves as the Community Mental Health Program and Local Mental Health Authority in Klamath County. KBBH has been providing behavioral health services such as mental health counseling, psychiatric services, crisis services, alcohol and drug treatment, case management, and residential services to the adults, children, adolescents, and families of the Klamath Basin since 1980. The Non-Profit Agency is led by a team of professionals who are passionate about access to mental health care, freedom from addiction, and building healthy families.
Job Duties:
- Meets with adult clients for assessments, treatment plans, individual counseling, and discharge/aftercare planning
- Provides group facilitation
- General administrative duties as assigned including accurate and timely documentation of all services, maintain accurate client records, responding to emails/phone calls in a timely manner
- Give client U.A.’s, follow proper protocol, documentation and send the U.A. to the lab
- Be available to speak with/meet with family, as appropriate
- Maintain good relations with community partners including DHS, probation
- Keep current on all certifications and attend trainings as needed
- Be willing to cover for SUDS Team members that are out sick or on vacation by covering their groups and/or meeting with clients as needed (This will include working with adults)
Education and/or Experience:
Must meet Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) requirements: Demonstrate the following minimum competencies: cultural responsiveness, effective communication, care coordination, inter- and intra-agency collaboration, working alliances with individuals, suicide and other risk assessments and interventions, creating and monitoring safety plans, completion of bio-psycho-social assessments and additional assessments, updating assessments when clinical circumstances change, generating a differential DSM diagnosis, prioritizing health, wellness, and recovery needs, writing measurable service objectives, creating, monitoring, and revising service plans, delivery of mental health and recovery treatment services in individual, group, and family formats within their scope, gathering and recording data that measures progress toward the service objectives and documenting services, supports, and other information supportive of the service plan;
Render services and supports within their scope to individuals engaged in a Division approved behavioral health services program;
Meet the following qualifications:
(A) Graduate degree in Psychology;
(B) Masters in a Behavioral Health discipline;
(C) Graduate degree in a behavioral science field;
(D) Graduate degree in recreational, music, or art therapy;
(E) Graduate degree in psychology, social work, recreational art or music therapy, or behavioral science field;
(F) An equivalent degree as evidenced by providing transcripts indicating applicable coursework meeting the required competencies and approved by a Division certified behavioral health provider.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver’s license. Authorization to work in the United States. If the employee is an unlicensed therapist or is not actively in the licensing process, employee must meet the requirements to become MHACBO QMHP-C Certified and maintain certification. This must be maintained for the length of employment.

Pay: $47,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
