The primary role of the Orthodontics Regional Manager (OOM) is to lead their team by setting up systems and protocols that provide structure and facilitate individual and team success. The Orthodontics Manager’s focus is on growing her/his team to provide the best customer service, patient experience, and dental treatment, which will ultimately increase patient base and growth. The OOM supports and drives Care Dentistry Group’s mission (see attached Mission Statement) and culture for their location(s). The OOM role is to ensure team members are following operations protocol. The Orthodontics manager’s duty is to develop, train and evaluate team members. The MANAGER IS NOT THERE TO PERFORM OTHER TEAM MEMBERS DUTIES.

The Orthodontics Regional Manager is the supervisor of their ortho front office and orthodontics assistant staff. The Orthodontics Regional Manager is the leader and must take ownership of the dept and staff. You are responsible for making sure the team is doing their job- not to do their job for them. It's one thing to train them and another thing to do their work for them. Training means you teach them a skill or a process and they are able to perform that task independently afterwards. The manager is responsible for the performance of their office and staff. If their staff is not performing to CDG standards, it is up to the manager to train and develop them. If the office is not performing to CDG office protocols, it is the managers responsibility to train them on the proper systems and protocols.

The Role

The Orthodontic Practice Manager is responsible for supporting the Orthodontic Area Manager to ensure the performance and success of the orthodontic department. The success will be measured by accurate execution of standards, guidelines, policies and procedures as well as working together with the orthodontic team to provide our patients and their families with a first class experience each and every time. The Orthodontic Practice Manager works closely with the Orthodontic Area Manager and Patient Care Leader to ensure that the Company’s Mission, Purpose and Beliefs are being supported and the overall vision is executed upon.

The Essential Job Elements

· Daily management of orthodontic operations including patient scheduling, patient flow, collecting copays, posting of procedures, insurance verification, answering phones, interacting with families, patient follow-up, in-office marketing, etc.

· Resolves problems by clarifying the issues involved; researching and exploring answers and providing alternative solutions

· Ensure that Care Dentistry Group’s Awesome Service delivery is met with each patient

· Provide regular feedback to the Orthodontic Area Manager on employee performance and take an active role in leading the employees’ annual reviews and any disciplinary actions

· Responsible for successful onboarding and training of all new Orthodontic Treatment Coordinators and Patient Coordinators.

· Act as the central point of contact for orthodontic teams

· Lead and coach other team members

· Assist the Orthodontic Area Manager in structured and complete execution of any revised or new company policies

· Support the Claims and Payments department by ensuring that the company’s financial policies are accurately executed and that all commitments are being met on time

· Order and maintain office supplies in a cost effective manner according to defined budgets

· Ensure the team is provided with a safe and clean working environment and that our patients are wowed by the overall appearance of our office

· Resolve customer complaints and/or billing questions to the customer’s satisfaction

· Ensure strict compliance with all company policies and pertinent laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, Dental Board, Employee Policy, Basic Labor laws, etc…)

· Work with the Orthodontic Area Manager to audit contracts, fees, acceptance ratios and strive for continuous improvement of the processes, providing accurate metrics of KPIs

· Coordinate standardization of collateral, scripting, reporting across all offices

· Maintain clear and concise communication and create strong relationships between the orthodontic, pediatric and general dentist.

· Other duties as assigned

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
