Virginia Family Dentistry is looking for an Orthodontic Assistant (Ortho Tech) to join both our Tri-Cities/ Chester location's dental family!

This team travels between our Tri-Cities and Chester offices each week.

If you are a team-player who loves providing quality patient care, please consider applying. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year or more of experience in orthodontic assisting. If you do not have direct industry experience, we ARE willing to train the right candidate that possess positive people skills, a willingness to learn, and work in a fast-paced environment. Typical work hours are 4 and 1/2 days per week, 8am-5pm.

For over 45 years, Virginia Family Dentistry has been proudly providing safe, quality dental care to the greater Richmond area. We are a practice with over 400 employees, 15 locations and over 60 general dentists and dental specialists. Although we are large, we operate like a close-knit family and strive to uphold our core values.

At Virginia Family Dentistry, our orthodontic assistants are held to high-quality standards in all aspects of dental care. They time-mange efficiently, demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Orthodontic Assistant provides our doctors with quality support and diligently follows Virginia Family Dentistry’s Standard of Care.

Clinical Requirements

· Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training as required by law

· Experience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred

· Take blood pressure readings

· Must be (or become) x-ray and CPR certified when hired
