Position: 210290 - Sr. Organizational Change Management Consultant

Location: Hybrid/Rosemead, CA

Position Summary

The project involves one or more large/complex organizational/people, process, or technology projects that will impact employees across the enterprise. You will be focused on organizational change management engagements and ensuring success of the projects/initiatives. You will apply a Prosci structured organizational change management methodology and lead change activities with assigned clients.

· 10+ years proven business experience including developing/implementing change management activities

· Develop the OCM plan and work with HR and internal clients to integrate with master project plan. Track and report project status, risks, and issues.

· The consultant will provide a wide range of OCM work in support of the Client Operating Units and other efforts that provide a comprehensive approach.

· Work output includes creation of OCM Deliverables, planning, development, execution, and implementation, keeping the client and team leadership informed, as appropriate, on project and OCM work status.

· Align to company goals and department objectives and implement opportunities to help raise department’s profile within the organization.

· Continue to effectively collaborate with impacted stakeholder groups.

· Partner with HR Talent Management and Training organizations to facilitate the necessary training strategies and implementation plans.

· Partner with Corporate Communications and Communications Advisors to facilitate communication strategies and plans.

· Other tasks to support project or initiatives may be requested, based on project needs, and as directed by project or initiative leads.

Technical/Functional Responsibilities

To deliver OCM services and work products in alignment with the Prosci discipline and methodology to support the Operational Excellence and related work streams.

· Working to support and lead activities within the Prosci framework to help drive individual change and achieve organizational results.

· Develop Organizational Change Management Activities and Recommendations: Develop organizational change management activities supporting the achievement of the project’s strategic goals, business outcomes, and benefits realization targets.

· Facilitate Communications Management:Develop and maintain the project’s organizational change management communication plan and support the development and distribution of the project’s key organizational change management communications

· Managing Multiple Projects in parallel

· Managing an ambiguous environment with soft skills

· Exercise excellent relationship manager and be able to adapt to all levels of the organization. OCM Lead will meet with a range of clients including SMEs, individual contributors, mid-management, and executive levels.

· Proven business experience leading change management projects including developing/implementing OCM deliverables

· Proven business experience including developing/implementing change management activities

· Ability to manage and facilitate change within an organization

· Methodology will follow Prosci principles and toolkits, including the use of Prosci Online Access to tools.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Ability to work collaboratively and manage ad hoc cross-functional groups, facilitate issue resolution, and drive to closure on business decisions

· Experience with Project Management discipline to successfully manage and execute on one or more project simultaneously (including weekly and monthly status reporting, deliverable acceptance signoff, and monthly sponsor/program updates)

Required Qualifications/Skills

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Performance, or Communication (required)

· Certification: Prosci Certification (required)

· Expert user of the following MS Office suite of products: PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, and Excel (required)

· Leading Project Change Mgmt. and/or Change Team: 10+ years (required)

· Developing & leading Organizational Readiness: 10+ years (required)

· Conducting/Mitigating Change Impact Assessments: 10+ years (required)

· Enterprise Change management: 10+ years (required)

· Leading Change Projects, i.e., People, Process or Technology: 10+ years (required)

· Leading Change Projects in the Utility Industry: 5+ years, strongly preferred

· Lead Change management effort to include execution of key activities and deliverables

· Experience in Change Management Strategy

· Experience in Stakeholder Identification & Engagement Plan

· Experience in Change Impact Assessment & Mitigation

· Experience in Developing Organizational Readiness

· Experience with Change Management working with Systems, Process and Process Change

· Able to do address Measurement & Sustainability

· Develop and execute project measurement programs including business readiness and roll out assessments

· Support the development of future-state processes by ensuring that user roles, responsibilities and performance measures align with projected benefits

· Support the identification and analysis of the impact of changes in the business process; raise issues and considerations to cross-functional teams

· Understand impacts and dependencies of other projects and initiatives in the company; partner with external teams to ensure alignment

· Produce communication materials including e-mails, PowerPoint presentations, voicemails, and printed media

· Prepare leadership for communication and training event facilitation

· Assist in defining end-user acceptance testing

· Identify business readiness criteria and assist in defining the readiness process

· Identify training requirements and assist in the development of training curriculum

Preferred Certifications

· ACMP CCMP Certification

· Prosci ePractitioner toolkit user license

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $200,000.00 per year
