Position Title: Order to Cash Process Improvement Associate Manager
Location: Neenah Service Center, Neenah, WI
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Performance Materials Team, as Order to Cash Process Improvement Associate Manager. This role will identify, lead, and implement process improvements that drive efficiencies in customer service, order management, production planning, and supply chain that improve customer experience and optimize cost to service. The OTC Process Improvement Associate Manager will execute strategies to meet Industrials Business Unit revenue and EBIT targets, drive strategy development that leverages current technology, innovative technology, and process capabilities to drive continuous improvement, improve service, reduced working capital, and reduced costs.
Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Enhance the level of service we provide to our customers through competitively advantaged supply chain capabilities, and processes. Leverage technology and platforms to build on the customer experience.
- Assume leadership of NCIS and continue to implement transactional efficiency solutions
- Leverage external consultancy and expertise through CI Training to conduct cross functional value stream mapping sessions and kaizen events for critical business processes.
- Lead and manage additional strategic projects and needed when identified by the Supply Chain Steering Committee.
- Create a platform to share and discuss our learnings to create internal buy in.
- Optimize transactional performance to increase speed, improve customer perception, and reduce redundancy costs.
- Identify process gaps, envision future state, and implement solutions using lean principles and root cause analysis.
- Define control plans that improve performance relative to enhanced key service metrics.
- Complete Quote Process improvement project with IMPACT/CI methodology
- Cross collaborate with other Mativ supply chain departments to share best practices, identify non-value activities and drive process change to improve.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in supply chain or other discipline that requires order process knowledge
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Ability to effectively work on multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Self-directed, work well independently and in a team environment
- Strong Analytical skills
- Highly analytical, with strong working knowledge of OTC process
- Able to execute analytics with little / no supervision or have a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new analytics
- Able to develop new analytical techniques with support of broader team
- Strategic Thinking
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Consultative approach with the ability to think strategically and creatively; analyze, synthesize, recommend
- Strong conceptual thinking skills and have an understanding of complete order to cash workflow
- Intellectually curious, proactive and highly adaptable self-starter; comfortable working to sometimes short deadlines and often with changing and competing priorities
- Solution-focused and flexible to adapt to the needs of the business
- Must be able to effectively influence individuals at levels senior to him or her, and across the organization including sales, marketing, product management, and finance.
- Excellent communication and consulting skills with the ability to engage, motivate and influence stakeholders and senior leaders; the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
- Must be able to bring together multiple functions to achieve results and drive recommendations.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate others; experience leading a team is strongly preferred
