This exciting opportunity for a Order to Cash (OtC) Manager is based in Louisville, KY supporting our Catalyst Business Unit and has the opportunity to participate in our Flexible Remote Work Policy! We are looking for candidates with a strong customer service background, preferably within a global market. The OTC Manager is responsible for managing the Quote-to-Cash process for assigned segment(s) including direction and/or support to assisting teams within our Global Business Services (GBS).
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for creating quotations for assigned segment in close collaboration with Sales and will be accountable for all orders throughout the OtC process
- The OtC Manager should drive for high order data accuracy, ensure correct backlog commenting for defined segment following Backlog Commenting Rules as well as identify gaps to improve performance
- You will participate in Root Cause Analysis' (RCA) conducted within Quality Notification System (QNS) process as assigned by Regional Supply Chain Manager (rSCM) or global Order-to-Cash (gOtC) Manager
- You will work with the Global OtC Manager (gOtC) of assigned segment for any reporting purposes needed for communication with Market Heads and will align with gOtC to identify gaps and issues in the supply chain process
- This role participates in weekly meetings with Scheduling/ Planning
- Support optimization of regional Order-to-Cash, logistics and other operational processes
- The OtC Manager is accountable for backlog in assigned segment - support GBS in driving for on time and in full delivery to customers through proactive planning and resolution of interdepartmental issues
- Ensure proper information flow within organization regionally as well as cross-regionally
- This role should have a continued sustained focus on optimizing cost and quality for dedicated scope of OtC processes and will be accountable for continuous improvement of the OtC process
- Evaluate GBS team performance and setup and continuously provide feedback to management
- Ensure appropriate process documentation, SOP, WO etc. to meet internal and external audit requirements
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma principles to improve efficiency throughout entire OtC process
- You will be responsible for leading project teams to systematically improve efficiency within OtC process
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred; High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of experience will be considered
- You should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service/order management
- Basic Import/Export experience related to OtC process
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You should have proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Strong organizational skills will be required for this role as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Experience in problem evauluation and problem-solving strategies and a structured approach to tasks
- Basic knowledge of SAP for modules MM and SD required
- Green Belt certification (lean sigma) a plus
