OQC-Inspector (1st Shift) Job at Samsung Electronics
Position Summary
The position is responsible for performing quality inspection processes
Role and Responsibilities
- Inspect and/or test finished good products using standard SEHA processes and methods.
- Communicate with related teams regarding the findings found during the inspection.
- Register inspection result in the systems.
- Make a daily summary report of the findings.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management; job duties may change at any time with or without notice.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
- Must be able to stand up for 8 to 10 hours a day, plus additional overtime as needed.
- Available to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.
- Flexible work availability and able to work overtime as needed with same day notice.
- The ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
Skills and Qualifications
- Background, Experience & Qualifications:
- More than (3) years of quality experience in a manufacturing industry
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in standard office software including MS Office.
- Knowledge of basic shop math and able to read technical instructions.
- Experience with variable gauges (calipers and micrometers).
- Experience with attribute gauges (plug, go/no).
- Must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to learn new specific software and systems.
