With guidance from the Project Manager, the Operations Supervisor will direct, plan, coordinate, schedule, and supervise operators,making sure that customer orders are processed correctly and on time, and mitigating and resolving any personel or capability obstacle in the way of successfully completing customer orders. This person is also responsible for assisting plant operators with daily tasks.

Overview / Responsibilities
With guidance from the Project Manager, the Operations Supervisor will direct, plan, coordinate, schedule, and supervise operators,making sure that customer orders are processed correctly and on time, and mitigating and resolving any personel or capability obstacle in the way of successfully completing customer orders. This person is also responsible for assisting plant operators with daily tasks.
- Supervise a team of 8 operators to include manage shift schedules, assign tasks, coach, mentor and train
- Generating prioritized lists of daily tasks and goals needing to be accomplished
- Assist with ordering, organizing and installation of existing or new project components
- Lead the operations team, develop, plan and track capital projects progress and cost
- Trouble-shoot plant issues and find solutions with assitance from management team as needed
- Communicate with lead shift operators to establish and communicate daily, weekly and monthly production goals
- Work closely with the Logistics Supervisor to prioritize and manage operations, maintenance and logistics staff in an effort to maximize the skillset and efficiency of available team members and third party contractors
- Strong safety mindset
- Competent user of all Microsoft Office Programs
- Ability to "adjust on the fly" to changing priorities
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Prior supervisor experience a plus but not required
