Description: Vari is looking for an Operations Specialist to manage final mile transportation, 3PL partners, and KPI’s to ensure each customer’s experience is consistent with the Vari brand.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Own the final mile freight and parcel network, ensuring service levels and capacity are maintained
• Drive a high standard of service across all channels with a focus on elevating the overall customer experience
• Manage carrier relationship and act as liaison between carriers and 3PL
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with multiple departments and partners to ensure delivery of product is completed within the preferred timeline
• Follow processes accurately with attention to detail
• Measure and monitor key performance indicators to maintain expected performance, execution quality, and cost efficiency
• Hold extreme sense of urgency and responsiveness for the Vari teammates and fans we serve
• Handle all correspondence in a timely and effective manner through proactive and responsive communication to internal and external business partners
• Maintain carrier score cards
• Apply system knowledge and analytic skills to extract business data to report operating trends for monthly reporting
• Works with others in the operations team to identify areas of improvement, develop new processes and procedures, and meets regularly to discuss status and troubleshoot

Requirements: How you'll get there:

• 2-3 years or relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in operations or supply chain management
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic with sound decision-making skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Adapt well to change, able to multi-task, and demonstrate a keen attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong written/verbal communication skills
• Proficiency working in CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce, SAP, and Netsuite)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
