Within the Scooter’s Coffee brand sits Harvest Roasting, which includes our warehouse, bakery, and roastery. Harvest Roasting serves as the supplier to all of our coffeehouse locations, including corporate and franchise owned, providing weekly product deliveries of the vast majority of products needed for daily business. For us, the focus is on quality; therefore, we handle all the roasting, shipping, baking, and packaging within Harvest Roasting.

LOCATION
This position may be performed with flexible working arrangements, including a mix of work from home and in office work. Scooter’s Coffee is headquartered in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate must currently reside in Omaha, NE. Relocation is not available for this role.
DESCRIPTION
In the Operations Services Specialist role you will help plans, implement, and evaluate improvements in operational processes and practices. This role plays a key part in facilitating cross-functional team work to achieve continuous improvement objectives. This role has a large part in complying and tracking project data and reports on status.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consults with all work groups/departments regarding operational feasibility, complexity, testing approach, and timing.
- Provides retail operations perspective for programs, tests, projects, and initiatives.
- Consults on recipes, POS updates, ringing procedures, promotional materials, and other things that have an operational impact to stores.
- Identifies opportunities to increase operational efficiencies and leverages opportunities to improve processes.
- Identifies gaps in current processes, uses critical thinking to identify root cause and possible solutions.
- Identifies potential impact of change and set workflow into motion to mitigate downstream/upstream issues.
- Constantly reviews store environment and key business metrics to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Works with the Operations and Training teams to identify opportunities for improvements in process, products, small wares and equipment.
- Lead workstream by identifying project objectives, necessary resources, key stakeholders, timeline, and deliverables. Ensures projects are delivered on time.
- Works with all internal departments, FBCs, franchisees, and SMs to test and implement new programs
- Identifies key stakeholders
- Creates and shares program objectives
- Implements testing
- Collects feedback
- Monitors progress and recommends adjustments to the program as needed
- Acts as the point of contact
- Works with Ops Services director to identify and eliminate roadblocks
- Define project or program scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Create and execute end-to-end project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Coordinate project activities between team members, while maximizing their productivity to achieve project goals
- Build internal and external business relationships vital to the success of the project
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
- Identify, assess and minimize risks throughout the project life cycle
- Create and maintain all project documentation pertinent to the project, including but not limited to, status reports, work plans, presentations
- Understand team dynamics and adapt methodology as needed to ensure project success
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change
- Able to meet the listed essential duties, either with our without a reasonable accommodation
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years QSR or other drive-thru business experience
- 3+ years’ experience business consultation or program management
- Experience implementing new process, systems, and training
- Ability to lead multiple projects and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships across workgroups to influence, motivate and communicate effectively
- Ability to assess the impact of change and develop processes to ensure effective implementation and user acceptance
- Solution oriented
- Strong operational skills
- Organization, planning, and prioritization skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
