The Red Lion Hotel Bellevue is currently seeking a driven, energetic, and ambitious Operations Manager. The hands-on position is responsible for the front desk and housekeeping operations, and is frequently working at the front desk.

Responsibilities Include:

* Ensure the smooth operation of the front desk and housekeeping departments on a daily basis.

*Communicates with housekeeping and front desk to ensure housekeeping coverage and rooms inventory is accurate and correct on a daily basis

*Monitors room rates and inventory, and adjusts when necessary

*Ensure guest satisfaction is consistently achieved

*Hires, trains, coaches, schedules, and evaluates employees

*Acts as the manager on duty, resolves guest concerns, responds to emergency situations, and may cover shifts in the case of being short-staffed.

*Ensures hotel policy and procedures are followed

*Follows budget guidelines and monitors compliance when purchasing and approving supplies

Qualifications Include:

* The ability to read, write and effective verbally communicate in English

*The ability to learn and use a computer property management system (Opera experience a plus)

*A working understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Office

*Analyze, interpret, and enforce established policies and procedures

*3+ years hotel rooms operations experience preferred (front desk and/or housekeeping)

*The ability to work a very flexible schedule, to include mornings, evening, weekends and holidays, as required.
