Sustainable Solutions Corporation is always immersed in our culture. Our headquarters are in Royersford, PA and we enjoy working in a 150-year-old sustainable building right on the river! This gives us the opportunity to be active participants in local efforts with stream clean-ups through Perkiomen Watershed.

All employees, regardless of location, participate in backpack/school supply donations and holiday gift donations. We partner with A Lively Hope, a program that accepts donations for children of parents who are imprisoned and newly released community members. Children who have lost parents or loved ones to violent acts of crime, parents who have passed away while incarcerated, as well as parents who are in rehabilitation services

What We Are Looking For

The full-time position as an Operations Manager, Corporate Sustainability is responsible for managing our growing Corporate Sustainability Team. To be successful in this position, you will need to have a focus on Team Management, Project Management, and knowledge in: Life Cycle Assessments, Environmental Product Declarations, Greenhouse Gas Emission Planning and Reduction Plans LEED credit certifications, and to improve and reduce costs and carbon footprint to meet clients’ sustainability goal. All roles at Sustainable Solutions Corporation will demonstrate our core values of Passion (for sustainability), Integrity, Respect, and Resourcefulness.

What you are accountable for:

  • Team Leadership

  • Delivering Team Revenue

  • Managing Key Client Retainers/Projects

  • Supporting Sales Team in Proposal Development

  • Supporting the Vice President of Operations to Execute Strategic Team Growth

  • Manage Day to Day Operations

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or similar field)

  • 5+ years of operations or consulting management experience in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

  • Sustainability experience with knowledge of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Environmental Social and Governance (ESG), or Corporate Sustainability Programs

  • Proven project management and/or team management experience with employees in remote locations

  • Strong organizational skills, including planning, delegating, and enhancing processes

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work

  • High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced degree (e.g. MS, MBA)

  • Professional Certification (LCACP, PMP, CEM, LEED)

  • Development support of proposals, contracts, and technical reports

  • Proficiency in LCA software (Simapro, GaBi)

Where you will be located:

  • This is a remote position with occasional work travel and on-site collaborative meetings as needed

What you will be paid:

  • The compensation band for this role his role starts at $100k/year base salary. Your salary can fluctuate based on experience

  • There is potential for a profit-sharing bonus
