The Operations Manager for the Channel Success Team ensures that our customers and partners have a smooth experience by choosing Milestone. The Channel Success team is responsible for onboarding partners, qualifying leads and managing our CARE business (software maintenance). This team is an important partner of our partner experiences and the success of our channel. The manger for this team should have a passion to win and be obsessed with customer experience. The manager is responsible for providing coaching and guidance to the team, constant process improvement, as well as handling escalations and special ad hoc projects. Additionally, this position is a part of the Sales Operations leadership team and will collaborate with this team on overall improvements to process and tools that enable our go-to-market organization.

This position will work out of our Americas Headquarters in beautiful Lake Oswego, OR and reports to the Director of Sales Operations, Americas. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of 8 – 12 employees
  • Supervise the work of your employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and employee development
  • Monthly forecast preparation and pipeline review with team
  • Develop goals and objectives centered on process improvement, customer experience, and channel development
  • Ensure performance against metrics is tracked/measured on a regular basis
  • Assess overall department performance against organizational objectives
  • Comprehensive understanding of the internal sales process- including systems, tools, and business rules
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data and communicate analysis to upper management
  • Ensure that the department has the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities
  • Act as liaison between department and company’s leadership team

Your Experience

  • Minimum two years of Sales and Customer Service Management experience required
  • Proven leader with a focus on employee development
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Intermediate Excel skills, CRM systems (Salesforce a plus)
  • Experience in Forecasting and Pipeline management
  • Stellar internal, cross-functional, and inter-employee skills. Should have the ability to manage through influence, get things done, and do so in a direct, fair, success-oriented way.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Thorough understanding of diverse business processes and strategy development
  • Good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques
  • Detailed oriented, organized, and able to quickly prioritize while managing multiple projects.
