Job Title: Operations Assistant
Job Type: Full-time $18-$22/hr DOE
Location: 727 Allston Way suite B Berkeley, CA 94710
Reports to: Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Operations Assistant to join our Production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and maintenance of electrical components and equipment, and will assist with inventory management and order fulfillment. The Operations Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized stockroom, receiving incoming components(which may include lifting), and performing other general duties as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Refill kits with electric components
- Test IC chips
- Soldering (will train for this one)
- Putting together small subassemblies
- Enclosure alterations/prep/building
- Cycle counts (inventory)
- Larger kitting for contract manufacturers
- General stock room maintenance
- Subassembly counts
- Creating subassemblies in DEAR
- Put away components that arrive in receiving
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment ideal
- Experience with electronic components and equipment preferred
- Basic knowledge of Google Suite applications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and expand capabilities
