Job Description:
Do you have a passion for accounting and analysis? The Operations Analyst is a vital part of the Global Services Division which encompasses the bank’s operations, technology, data, security, privacy, third party management, workforce evolution, and enterprise transformation divisions. The Operations Analyst is a meaningful role with responsibilities including:
  • Reconciling General Ledger and Credit Card accounts
  • Operational accounting including daily settlement, reconciliation and monthly certification of General Ledger accounts related to merchant services, chargebacks, issuing and acquiring activities
  • Partnering with Finance and Accounting teammates, as well as internal and external auditors and vendors
  • Serving as a subject matter authority in a variety of areas related to card reconciliations and processing including chargeback processing
  • Completing the daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of loan, deposit, and card related data
  • Identifying and implementing controls and operational improvements
  • Participating in projects and initiatives related to operations and reporting
  • Completing periodic certification of card, loan, or deposit related system user access
  • Building and maintaining a detailed understanding of all card and general ledger systems.
  • Analysis of reconciliations, deciphering highly complex exceptions between systems for assigned accounts
  • Performing root-cause analysis on why exceptions exist and leading the effort in resolving them
Qualifications:
  • Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes
  • Financial services experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with Commercial/Corporate Credit Cards preferred
  • Able to independently research and solve simple to moderately complex scenarios
  • Ability to prioritize, handle high volumes, and support cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey information
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Critical thinking with the awareness to know when to challenge or question
  • Solid MS Office skills with emphasis in Excel
  • Solid networking skills, strong ability to build relationships with internal partners
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency PLUS
  • 2+ years of related professional experience (commercial banking/financial services) OR 4+ years of overall banking experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree desired and may be considered as 1-2 years overall experience

Base Pay:
$61,594.00 - $72,020.00
Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
