POSITION REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR OF DISTRIBUTION

POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for accurate handling of product and working efficiently to load and unload shipments as necessary. The Warehouse Associate must ensure they follow Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) requirements, maintain a clean work environment, and follow all safety best practices.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and move reusable plastic containers (RPC)
• Accurately pick/put product in trays to ensure the RPCs are packed in an organized manner to maximize units per container
• Load and unload product into/from delivery trucks
• Ensure all product stays within the correct temperature guidelines while loading and unloading trucks
• Document and report product that is out of the temperature guideline range
• Properly tag each RPC with the store number
• Move product throughout the warehouse for storage, staging, and loading sometimes using a pallet jack
• Move/rotate box trucks or other vehicles as needed to/from the loading dock to load/unload
• Ability to follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
• Break down pallets and boxes as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Understand basic math skills
• Pallet jack experience
• Picking of product experience
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure while completing tasks in full
• Strong expertise related to organization, time management, and attention to detail
• Team player with the ability to adapt to change with a focus on continuous improvement

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to frequently move product up to 75 pounds
• Ability to move up to 250 pounds
• Ability to consistently work in cold environments
• Be able to position oneself to complete tasks safely and appropriately
• Occasionally ascend/descend a piece of machinery
• Ability to travel short and long distances
• Ability to communicate through written and verbal practices
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
• Continuous manual dexterity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
