JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position focus will be on the development of the Cadiz & Zanesville Rental Store. The qualified candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations, including rental and sales, product support, expense control, budgeting, business planning, and forecasting. The position is also responsible for developing operating and safety standards for the branch, monitoring accounts receivable and equipment utilization, as well as supervising all Cadiz & Zanesville rental staff.
COMPETENCIES:
Excellent verbal & written communication skills with a good understanding of financial principles and P&L accounting are needed for the position. The ideal candidate is customer-oriented and has a high energy level with the ability to handle multiple tasks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred. Three years of Rental Branch Management experience is required. In-depth knowledge of construction equipment, as well as the rental industry, is required. Must have strong customer service skills, and internal and external customers.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard, and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
