Offset Lead Press Operators (Sheet-fed)

Millennium Print Group (MPG), a Subsidiary of The Pokémon Company International (TPCi), is located in Greensboro, NC. The job will be performed in the Greensboro, NC location. The city of Greensboro lies among the rolling hills of North Carolina's Piedmont Triad (Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem) , midway between the state's Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains to the west and the Atlantic beaches and Outer Banks to the east.

Over the years, MPG has assembled a dedicated and highly talented staff of print professionals and has built a world-class manufacturing plant that is customer focused, market-competitive, and quality driven. Our unique ability offers a variety of printing and finishing services specializing in trading collectible cards and packaging (folding carton) products.

Since 2020, our Greensboro location has tripled in size to approximately a $75 million manufacturing production plant with a projection of continued organic growth through a strategic approach.

MPG has expanded its production capacity along with adding new equipment. At the present time, MPG is seeking to hire experienced Offset Sheet Fed Operators to join our growing and profitable company looking to advance their careers. Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating high-quality products using Komori LS and GL series automated Offset sheet-fed printing equipment (6-color & 8-color)
• Responsible for performing machine make readys, achieving run speed standards, productivity efficiencies, and more importantly, achieving customer requirements and quality standards
• Monitors the product for quality while minimizing waste and rework
• Utilizes G7 color theory including gray balance, dot gain and ink trap to provide high quality process printing
• Accurately records time and materials for each job and is accountable for equipment maintenance
• Diagnoses problems, makes adjustments, troubleshoots and provides the required maintenance to equipment in a timely manner
• Must be able to push, pull, lift or carry up to as much as 60 pounds occasionally
• Observes established safe working and housekeeping procedures and follows all standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit

Position Qualifications:

• Requires High School diploma or equivalent
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years offset (sheet-fed) printing experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with 40” multi-color (6 and 8 units) offset press equipment
• Understands LAB values and makes the required ink adjustments to maintain branded match color compliance
• Experience with G7 color theory and UV technology are required
• Possesses mechanical and troubleshooting skills
