6:00am- 2:30pm

Job Purpose

The Offset/Digital Bindery Operator I will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting bindery equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. This position will also be responsible for various other aspects of finishing and packaging products in accordance with job specifications and company procedures.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot bindery equipment such cutters, folders, gluers, trimmers and binders.
• Read and understand work orders and job specifications to ensure accurate and timely production of printer materials.
• Adjust machinery as needed to ensure quality and efficiency
• Follow company safety regulation and procedures to maintain a sage working environment
• Maintain bindery equipment to ensure proper working order
• Package and process completed orders for shipment
• Read and understand work orders and job specifications to ensure accurate and timely production of printed materials.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating various bindery equipment.
• Update job status in company database and provide timely feedback to customers.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in bindery operations or related field preferred

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of standing during machine operation and working in a loud environment.
• Must be physically able to operate and repair machines, which may involve bending, squatting, and crawling.
• Lift, carry, push, pull materials and objects weighing up to 50lbs and heavier, with the proper equipment.
