Pay Range: $17.60 – $19.23 per hour

(DOE and additional compensation for approved county threshold languages)

Position Overview:

Under the direct supervision of the Office Services Manager, the VCSS Office Service Support II staff is responsible for providing office support services to the assigned VCSS site(s).

Responsibilities:

  • Provides general office support as assigned.
  • Effectively trains Office Support Staff I positions on his/her assigned tasks, as needed.
  • Effectively leads ‘teams of staff’ to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Oversees and maintains an effective organization and filing system within assigned areas.
  • Identifies areas of need in order to maintain excellence in the administrative processes, and makes suggestions to the leadership of the site.
  • Assists with administrative functions of intakes, completing paperwork and assisting with client files.
  • Performs other administrative tasks as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provides on-site technical support to all staff
  • Provides general HR support as assigned
  • Processes Payroll for program
  • Processes Billing for program as assigned
  • Manages Psychiatric department needs

Essential Requirements:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
  • Must have high school or general education degree plus four years office experience.
  • Must demonstrate computer/software proficiency as determined by the task list.
  • Must possess a valid California driver’s license, personal automobile insurance, and driving record that meets the standards outlined in the Agency’s Personnel Policy; Motor Vehicle Operating Standards.
  • Must be physically and mentally fit in accordance with the Agency’s Personnel Policy; Physical Fitness Standards and Examinations and must be willing to complete a Tuberculosis (TB) and drug screening test.
  • Must be flexible to work nights and weekends, may need to work a split-shift, varying schedule according to operational needs.
  • Must have proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
