Office Assistant/Dispatcher Job at Hawkeye Moving Services, Inc.
- We are a local logistics company looking for a competent Dispatch Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, reliable worker, who is able to undertake a variety of dispatch tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail in a team atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist dispatch in ways that optimize procedures
- Organize and process customer communications in a timely manner
- Update customer portals and manage scheduling for multiple customers
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
Skills
- Proven experience in an office environment
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Outlook
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
