What You Will Contribute:
Office Administrator provides high-level administrative support to the Silicon Valley Innovation Center (SVIC) by conducting vendor research, handling information requests and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls and scheduling meetings for executives. We are offering part-time 20-25 hours weekly, with the ability to create a flexible schedule for yourself (mornings preferred).

Type reports, memos, letters and other documents

Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages

Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals

Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution

Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records management database systems

File and retrieve corporate documents, records and reports

Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email

Coordinate travel arrangements and file expense reports on behalf of the SVIC office staff

Ability to take the lead on office improvement projects and events

Distribute office equipment including laptops, internet service information

Manage vendor access paperwork and contracts

Liaison for Badger Meter departments and other third-party vendors
Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Strong organizational skills and a focus on on-time delivery

Reliable and attentive
-
Basic computer skills & experience with using computer productivity suites

Good writing and communication skills
-
Preferred 3 years of experience in a related role

Hourly range $25-26
