PAY RANGE: $20-$25 PER HOUR
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm
LOCATION: Goose Island Beer Company Corporate Office. Please note, this position is not remote and is expected to complete work onsite in office.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Goose Island looking for an Office Administrator to join our team! The Office Administrator will provide administrative assistance, greet and direct visitors, and respond to calls and emails. Qualified candidates will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task, and a friendly demeanor.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Maintain all office supply inventory, understand usage trends, forecast upcoming needs, and complete all ordering for all office locations
  • Responsible for all reception duties – greeting all visitors at the reception desk, acting as first point of contact for guests, answering the doorbells and incoming calls, receiving and distributing all shipments and mail
  • Ensure general office cleanliness and tidy appearance of all common areas, including meeting rooms and break room
  • Oversee shipping services for outgoing and incoming mail, maintain supplies for postage, mail equipment, etc.
  • Assist with set up and break down of office wide events or celebrations
  • Manage internal company communication mailbox and relevant companywide messaging
  • Support the Marketing, Sales, and Brewery departments with additional projects and administrative duties as needed
  • Serve as the first point of contact for ad-hoc requests – employee badge management, technology issues, etc.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience working in an office setting required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Proficient in typing and general computer use.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive information.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to occasionally bend, twist, reach and lift up to 20 pounds.
