Overall Job Description

As The Office Administrator / Blimp Operations, you will provide the necessary administrative assistance for Goodyear's Airship / Blimp facility located in Pompano Beach, FL. In this role, you will provide a high level of customer service to visitors to the facility as well managing all scheduling of events. You will be responsible for maintaining a system for tracking and recording various base and operations related business records as well as, assisting our Public Relations Manager with events. This position also serves as an on-site representative and Goodyear Brand Ambassador for a variety of programming partners.


Job Functions

  • Scheduling of passengers and maintaining flight/maintenance and activity logs, daily/weekly records of hours worked by the crew.
  • Assist the Public Relations Manager in scheduling rides for invited guests. Compile and respond to blimp charity requests. Maintain the schedule of invited guests. Provide for and conduct tours of the Airship Facility. Maintain files and records related to visitations and rides as necessary.
  • Provide base management with administrative and assistance as needed.
  • Coordinate the use of the Blimp base facility, including hangar, by internal and external groups.
  • Assist in the implementation of community relations programs surrounding the blimp, aimed at expanding awareness and appreciation for the Goodyear brand.


Minimum Required Education and Background

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of Customer Service experience preferably in / hospitality / retail / Office administration
  • Computer skills such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint would be ideal.
  • Any exposure to Public Relations would be desirable.


Knowledge/Skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of office and customer service / administrative
  • Computer skills such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint would be ideal.
  • Any exposure to Public Relations would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational skills
